it all begins here...

The quiet roads in the small town in Essex fill with laughter as three friends make their way through. University just finished for spring break and the trio wander around waiting to see where these eastern winds will take them. Francine, the dark and brooding friend that has a little too intense of a fascination with spirits and witchcraft. Matt, some like to say he’s your typical shy guy; introverted with a heart of gold. And to complete this trio, they wouldn’t be where they are if it wasn’t for Sarah’s bright and bubbly personality. She brings Matt and Fran out of their comfort zone with her extreme extroverted nature, though she can be quite a ditz at times.

“Guys! Come on, don’t be so daft! It’s a Friday and we have big plans ahead of us! Don’t you guys wanna get up to some mischief!” Fran shouted with a sense of excitement and urgency.

Matt wanted nothing to do with whatever plans she was already brewing up in her head. He would much rather have a nice quiet night in. A movie. Some pizza. Normal safe stuff. Meanwhile, Sarah is just happy to be wherever her friends are. As they continue to walk through the rolling hills of their town they make a stumbling stop at a building that seems to be looming over them. They look up in unison and realize it’s the old antique shop that is rumoured to be run by an old witch.

“Oh perfect.” Matt signed sarcastically, “Please don’t make us go in Fran…”

“Don’t you want to start off our holiday with a little sense of thrill?!” Fran replied overly excited, “They have such cute vintage, can we just look around! And then we’ll go have a night in like you want.”

The three of them spread as Fran skips ahead, Sarah giggling not too far behind, and Matt lingering a little further behind with hesitation...
